For parents who have never sent a child off to summer camp, it may seem too early to start thinking about summer since we are just now settling into winter. However the perfect time to think about summer enrichment opportunities for you child is right now.

Many camps fill up quickly when their enrollment opens in January. The most popular camp session times will be filled by parents who are thinking ahead.

Thankfully there are two great CAMP FAIR opportunities coming up to help parents select the perfect summer enrichment experience for their child.

Washington FAMILY Magazine, the Washington Region's leading source for summer camps, will sponsor two of the region's largest camp fairs. White Flint Mall's 14th Annual Camp and Summer Programs Expo in North Potomac, Maryland will be held on January 24th and 25th. The Dulles Town Center's Camp Fair in Dulles, Virginia will be held on February 7th and 8th. There are other camp fairs around the region and you can find a list on our web site, www.WashingtonFAMILY.com.

Washington FAMILY Magazine's extremely popular Summer CAMP GUIDE appears in the January issue of the printed magazine as well as online at our web site, www.WashingtonFAMILY.com.

On Monday morning, you can hear Annette share tips with viewers on how they can take advantage of a camp fair to help them find just the right summer experience for their child. Then log on to www.DC.MomsLikeMe.com and continue discussing this important subject with other moms.
